Currently, I am fourteen, so I don't usually sit down and say to myself, "Sarah, what are you going to pursue in your future?" I obviously think about what I want to do in the future, but not quite seriously. But what will I do in the future? Well..................
I plan to, God-willing, graduate at the age of seventeen. I would like to then go to college. Either a Christian college or, (this would be amazing if it happened!), Julliard. Most likely, I won't be going to college at Julliard in a little over three years though. I would like to get a P.H.D and a Hope Scholarship though.
After college, I don't really know what profession I would like to take on. I wanted to be a teacher, a school teacher. I love
to learn with all my heart, and I just know I would love to teach children of all ages how to read, write, and figure. I also believe that God has laid something else on my heart recently, to help OPEN THE EYES OF UNBELIEVERS. A couple of months ago, I would've said, 'No way! I can't and I don't want to do that!' But you know how it is, when God tells you what He wants you to be, the way you view things suddenly change. Example? I would hate to work at a dumpster! But if God suddenly laid it on my heart to work at a dumpster, I would probably want to! (Thank goodness God hasn't said anything to me about that! -yet.)
So, I 'm still thinking things out. I also need to pray and just rely on God and see what happens in His own good timing!
I would love to marry a gentlemanly, kind, passionate, funny, godly man in the future. As I've heard before, "There are very few gentlemen left in the world, but here's one." I am especially drawn to think highly of gentlemen. It is too often that I see women holding doors open for men; that I see men using impolite manners around women. We women and young women have our faults too, but I wonder much of the time to myself, 'What ever happened to ladies first?'
As for children, I would like to have children. I especially would like to adopt!
Lastly, 'How will my life career affect the kingdom of Christ?' All I can say is this, I want to be a witness to the lost. A light in the dark, a friend to the friendless. A daughter to the Father, a servant to the King of Kings, I want to worship God through everything.
P.S. I think participating in rodeos for a part time career would be fun! Yeehaw!
