Let the Music Play!!!

Music in my family is definitely a passion. From generation to generation, music has been played in my family tree. Since I myself LOVE music, you can imagine that I love concerts!

Today, my dad, Elizabeth, Elizabeth's friend Brook, and I got to watch John Waller, Soul Sister Sally, and two other bands perform at John ?'s house. (John ? is one of the main founders of 'A Better Way Ministries'.) John ? has about fifty acres, so space was no problem. We also got to hear two of the men working for 'A Better Way Ministries' give their testimony. Their testimonies and the heart of the men were really inspiring, sad (because of their past), but inspiring. Their hearts for God shone magnificently and ever brightly through their faces and what they had to say.

Back to the music, it was great! Andy (the old Casting Crowns drummer; now the drummer for Soul Sister Sally), sees my brother about every other week so ya, they keep in touch. Andy also came to Christan's graduation party unexpectedly so Andy is definitely considered a friend. We got to talk to him and his wife Kelly (lead singer of Soul Sister Sally) before the music started. They are so nice! Andy especially makes me laugh. (Once you meet him, you'll understand why.)

Later, my dad talked to John Waller. We previously knew John Waller because we used to live two doors down from his sister, and John Waller was interested in  buying our house when we moved from Fayetteville to Peachtree City back in 2006. (John Waller didn't end up buying our house though.) So it was really nice to see John Waller again. It was actually my first time talking to him as an acquaintance (not as a fan trying to get his autograph!) He introduced me to his son who's sort of close to my age. I also saw John Waller's nephew (our old neighbor's son) Caleb. I can't believe how much he's matured! I didn't even recognize him at first!

We had an awesome time! I think I did especially. I've been getting burned out from all my school work this past week, so this outing really cooled me down! I felt like I knew everyone! So it was nice; the people were nice; the musicians were nice; everything was nice! Keep playing John and Andy! You rock!

Prayer requests: 1. For my family and myself to not get burned out from all our crazy activities.
2. For our friends, the Renfroe's. Their son unexpectedly passed away last Thursday.
