My Hero Is.....

(This is a school assigned blog entry.)

Before I tell what my hero's name is, let me give you a little information about Him.

He is not like the heroes that you see on tv, because the truth of the matter is this: those super heroes on tv that many may consider as their 'hero' don't really exist. They're just made up, fictional, characters. (Do not tell a two-ten year old that.) My hero, however, does exist. In fact, He really did SAVE the world. Over two thousand years ago, He died for the world. He was nailed to a wooden cross. A crown of thorns was placed on His head and He was whipped until His skin tore open. A spear was plunged through His hip. Did this man deserve all of this? NO. This man came into the world, to save the people of the world from their sins so that they would have a free choice to choose if they would follow His path, or if they would continue following their own. This man HEALED the blind, the lame, those who were possessed by the devil, and any who would come to Him. He loved the people of the world unconditionally. And for that, He gave His life to the WORLD.

Who is this man? Where did He come from? Does He still love the world as you say He did?
This man does still love the people of the world and He came from the one true God, God the Father. This man's name is Jesus Christ.

And that's who my hero is.
