An Update :)

My brother, Christian just turned nineteen on March 31st. He has matured so much even in the last couple of years. He is one of the people in my life that I look up to, but since he is so busy with his college internship and job at Papa John's and since the rest of us at home are pretty busy ourselves, I don't get to spend as much time with him as I used to. It almost seems silly to call my brother an adult, but he is one now. So I've gathered that there are things to be excited about, but there are also some things that make me feel a little sad.

My dad and I entered in for the Peachtree Road Race and we were both selected to be participants of the road race this year. I am very excited to be participating in it this year, but I also know that it will require lots of training, so my dad and I could use prayers that we keep at the training like we should and that our endurance builds up. (I especially am not very good about endurance.) :P

On March 26th were the Awana Games and Quizzing. Elizabeth and I participated in the Trek quizzing and I participated in the Journey games with a lot of our friends from Awana. The fun I had was indescribable! To top it all off, Elizabeth and our friends and I went to Stevie B's for supper. This was Elizabeth's and my first year ever participating in the Awana quizzing, and although we didn't win, we still had fun. This was also my first year participating in the Awana games, and to my knowledge our team tied for 3rd place. (Which is not that bad since there were six teams.) That Saturday was loads of fun, and it was a day that I hope I will never forget.

Now, it may seem silly to some that the Awana groups at my church mean so much to me, but it really isn't that silly. All my life, I've moved from one house to another which mean't that I never had a "home church". But now, I do have a "home church", and even though I may seem a little strange at times I feel like I fit right in at Grace Communitty Fellowship church, and that's not because I'm popular or anything, (which I'm not, and popularity doesn't matter anyway), its because my church is full of loving people that love me and make me feel comfortable and loved,w which is one of the greatest blessings that God has ever given me.
