Well, its been quite a while since I made another post on my blog, and in all honesty I've sort of been neglecting to work on my blog. So I'm going to try and post more. :)
This post will be sort of an update on what's been going on around here.
Oh and this time, I thought I'd use a little more color in my writing. :D
In February, the Awana Trek and Journey groups held a Valentine Dinner at our church. We were trying to raise money for all of us to go to take a missions trip in Wyoming this coming July. Our church has a missions trip to Wyoming every year, but this will be Rachel's and my first time going. Infact, this will be our first time ever going on any missions trip and I'm hoping that we will have a lot of fun and learn a lot, while we grow closer with some of our dear friends. :)
My dear, sweet mommy was going to have a hysterectomy on February 28th, but due to a rash that she had, which may of contained bacteria that could've gone into her body and caused a serious infection, the doctor said that he'd feel better if we waited until her rash cleaed up. Mom is planning to have her surgery this coming Monday. She was only going to stay one night at the hospital, but now she will have to stay at least two nights because her recovery after the surgery will be harder for her. For further details you can email me at godalmighty4ever@gmail.com , although I think most of my blog readers already know about her surgey.
We feel God's peace, like we're doing the right thing, but we're (well, at least I am) still a little scared and nervous about how things will be afterwards. I'm a little worried to see my mommy will be in a great deal of pain afterwards. So if ya'll could pray for my mommy and the rest of us (but especially my mommy), then that would be very kind. If there is anything at all that I can pray for ya'll or your family, or your friends please let me know. I'd be more than happy to pray for you. :)
My cat...... Oh I don't know what I'll ever do with Jacque! He is just such a dim-sited cat. (At least I said it nicely.) One of our neighbor's cats chased him up a tree and he was in that tree for a whole week! One of the nights it stormed too, so he must've gotten drenched. We tried just about everything to get him down, but he wouldn't get down. If anything, he went higher. Poor, nonsensical cat! But then again, that's Jacque. ;)
Well, hmmmm let's see......I've been practicing with my friends in Trek and Journey for the "Awana Games" that are coming up on March 30th, and its a lot of fun. I especially love the running. :) I recently discovered that I really enjoy running. On the 30th of March, the Trek group and I'm guessing the Journey group are going to have "Awana Quizzing". I'm pretty nervous about that because I haven't really been re-studying my Awana verses, reading, definitions, etc. So I need to get hopp'in!
On February 27th, Daddy brought Rachel and I to John Waller's newest opening album debut. It was SO cool and amazing! If I had to pick five favorite artists/bands, John Waller would be on my list. Speaking of music, my dad is working on some new songs for a new album that he wants to have finished I think in the summer. My dad is one of my top five favorite artists too. :) I guess I'll just go ahead and put down my "Top 5 Favorite Artists/Bands":
1. My dad
2. Tobymac
3. Chris August
4. John Waller
5. ? (I'd have to think about that.)
Well, I'm sure that there is more that I could talk about, but I can't think of anything right now. I hope that all of you have a blessed and happy weekend. God bless you all! :)
