This Is a Big Post!

There's a lot I want to write about in this post so get ready to read a lot.

DUCKLINGS

A while back, one of my followers mentioned that I should post some pictures of our ducklings. Well, the ducklings aren't ducklings anymore, they've grown quite a bit. Actually, we released them into the 'wild' yesterday, but here are a few pictures of them when we first got them. The pictures aren't very good though, just to warn you.

In the end, we had to kill one of the ducklings because it was a crippled runt. We tried to bandage it's broken legs several times, but it eventually became crippled. We just knew it wouldn't make it once it was set free. Well, as my parents told me, " That's part of living on a farm. "

VIRGINIA and WASHINGTON D.C.

We spent our Thanksgiving break in Virginia and in Washington D.C. Technically, are hotel was in Maryland, but it was right on the line between Maryland and Washington D.C., so let's just go with D.C.

We visited many cites and museums, including Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, the Library of Congress, the National Archives Museum, and the Air and Space museum. We also visited the Capitol, a Navy Memorial museum, the Lincoln Memorial, the Natural Musuem of History, and the Nazi Germany Holocaust Memorial Musuem. We also did a lot of other stuff, but these were most of the highlights of our trip. Oh, Elizabeth, Abigail, and I also went ice-skating for the first time! It was fun, but I we had trouble just staying on our feet!

This is a church in Williamsburg that George Washington sometimes attended. We went to this church on Sunday; it was beautiful!

Abigail looks up to Christan so much!

A picture of our nation's Capitol.

The outside of the Library of Congress. The inside is unimaginably beautiful. I was astonished at the engravings and paintings.

Elizabeth, Abigail, and I, about to go on the ice-skating rink. Little did we know how difficult ice-skating could be and how painful it is to your feet! My feet were killing me while I tried to skate!

Daddy and Elizabeth a ferry ride we all took.

Mommy, Christan, Elizabeth, Abigail, and I having letting Daddy take a picture of us at the Natural Musuem of History.

Abigail got eaten by a shark!

Rwaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Isn't this a sweet picture?

The Lincoln Memorial.

In total, we probably took close to one-thousand pictures, so believe me when I say there are a lot more pictures. Mommy doesn't really care to have her picture taken so that's why I only poasted one picture of her.

I am so thankful that God provided this ttrip for us to take. We had some 'ups and downs', but over all, it was a great experience. We were VERY, VERY tired when we arrived home at three-fifty in the morning yesterday. I still feel the effect of that long drive. As nice as the trip tturned out to be, I am truly grateful to be back home. Oh, and may I say what an outstanding job our neighbor boy, John, did taking care of all of our pets and animals. A twelve year-old boy, taking care of four cats, two dogs, twelve ducks, and five chickens, twice a day for nine days straight. I think he deserves an applause, he did a great job! Oh and believe me, we paid him and he deserved every penny that he earned. He was trustworthy, responsible, and caring towards all our animals and pets.
